Glyn & Sophia

Glyn and Sophia are the senior ministers of !Audacious City Church. They have been married 14 years this December. Glyn says they’ve been the best years of his life.  As a couple they are passionate about living life to the full and having a lot of fun along the way.

Glyn and Sophia pioneered the youth and young adult ministry at Hope City Church in Sheffield in 1996. During their time there, they gave oversight to the student ministry, children’s ministry, ministry for young married couples, missions and the training of emerging leaders. Sophia directed creative arts, which included some highly successful musicals and the training of musicians and singers. Glyn became Associate Minister in the last seven years of involvement in Hope City Church.

In April 2007 the senior pastors of Hope City Church released Glyn and Sophia to build a nation shaking church in the heart of Manchester, !Audacious City Church.

Glyn travels extensively across the world, communicating in many and varied forums, and can always be found trying to convert people to Manchester City Football Club! Another of Glyn’s passions, besides his family, is his motorbike, which he loves driving.

Sophia has a heart to see people live full and extra-ordinary lives.  She is insightful , unconventional, and always speaks with wisdom. Her messages communicate truth and, delivered in her unique style, are guaranteed to make you laugh. She loves people, great stories, all things beautiful and sparkly, and wholenut chocolate!

Glyn & Sophia are the parents of  two amazing children Georgia (9) and Jaedon (6). The children have finally got their wish for a dog – Lara joined the family recently and is slowly chewing her way through the house.
